Elizabeth Nails Spa

The space was relaxing, and welcoming. We were seen quickly and together which was great. However, my friend and I got the exact same service and colors. Our processes were done differently and rushed. I asked for my nails to be shaped, they are uneven, my old nail polish can be seen on the edges on my nails, and since that was black polish my finger nails look dirty. The shaping process after the dip was dry was done with in minutes, leaving extra cuticle on some nails, uneven texture in the dip, gaps where the dip wasn't applied evenly before drying. Minimal personal attention was provided, two different technicians swapped out, I was never checked back in with or talked to while my nails were being done, my friend had one technician that left her under the UV lamp and then never returned, another technician came over and said we were done and processed our payments. This was done Saturday, it is only Tuesday and my dip as chipped, and many nails are gapped and popped up at the cuticle area. I work in the medical field where I can't have chips in my polish, I chose dip because of the durability. I'm extremely dissatisfied with our experience, the outcome and the fact that I now need to pay someone else again to correct this.

I wanted a relaxing pedicure and to take my time, maybe read a book, but the entire time the salon tech was irritated and visibly pissed. the whole thing was at most 15 minutes. I’m writing this review at 12:25 and I walked in at 12:05. $40 for a BASIC pedicure where she did one coat and didn’t clip my nails, and made me feel bad for not getting something more expensive. I will not be coming back, and I should have saved my money for an experience I deserve. I still tipped because I understand people have bad days, but I really wanted a nicer experience than this.

I should have been suspicious when I saw them grab for tools that didn’t come from the sterilizer or package but were just laying around on their little workstation. Besides that, the service was rushed and sloppy and the nails chipped within a few days.

I was very nervous after seeing the reviews when I pulled up the address -to drive to my appt.😳 I decided to still give them a try, since there was a scarce amount of good reviews and it was too late to get in another salon… The salon is dirty, at first glance it didn’t seem too bad but after sitting for a min I realized the coating of dust, and they used the warm towels from manicures to wipe the counters and hard services after using them on customers. I asked for med length navy coffin nails. Acrylic with regular polish and pedicure with regular polish. It took 2 times to make it clear I didn’t want gel polish. But the regular polish selection was awful. No Navy without sparkles?.. So I accepted the gel to get the color I liked. The tech was pleasant and tried to accommodate. I did not want the Dremel on my natural nails. They literally took it off the person next to me’s natural nails and we’re about to put it directly on mine. Gross, but also my natural nails are thin so they get sore when dremeled before a set. Neither tech I worked with under stood what coffin meant. So they kept hand filling the sides but it never turned into coffin shape.. so I accepted square. They started my pedicure mid acrylic set so I had my acrylic filed in the pedi chair, so my cloths were covered with white dust. But I did actually prefer to have my nails and toes done together. It was relaxing and the main reason I spend so much time between nail services is how long I have to be in the salon. Price was pretty high, especially considering the equipment and supplies used were low quality. I’ve paid a lot less for much higher quality nails. Over all I would not go back, but In my opinion it wasn’t as horrible as most the reviews say. Pictures of what I wanted vs what I got. THE WORST SERVICE I HAVE EVER RECEIVED ANYWHERE. Got there when they opened so there was only two other people there. I told them I just wanted a pedicure and they bombarded me with getting a manicure too. As I sat in the spa chair to get my pedicure someone came and started my finger nails they rushed through my nails and they were made uneven. My pedicure they didn’t even do any cuticle cutting and I asked for a hot stone pedicure. They through on the lotion did a little rub used the stones and called it good. The nail polish put on my nails you can see empty spots. All in all it took 30minutes for a hot stone pedicure and manicure. Which absolutely UNACCEPTABLE. This wasn’t relaxing at all. And in the end I was charged 85$ They they bothered me for a tip. As I walked out the girl who did my feet was sitting outside on the phone. Apparently she couldn’t be bothered to give better service because she had more important things to do. Do yourself a favor and spend the extra money in gas to go to LA Nails in Yarmouth. Much better service and better prices. The girls at LA Nails are fun to be around.
